Few places on earth are as a ban extreme northern Canada. Composed of the Northwest and Yukon, this region provides more than 40 percent of Canada's land mass that stretches from the northern edge Canadian Rocky Mountains in the icy waters of the Arctic Circle. Well, this does not mean you should not leave a quick glance, no? As other extreme parts of the continent, intrepid travelers willing to move forward in these northern lands is rewarded with a lot of great views, wildlife and geography that few around the world. And remember to spin tall tales around the campfire. These lands, once held a huge population but fleeting gold fever, are some of the most precious in the desert and intact in North America.

A good to introduce these northern territories is to take the Alaska Highway British Columbia. Completed in 1942, the road crosses several national parks in British Columbia, before heading west into the Yukon.
