Outboard fishing boat fishing boat vs. jet?

In the Northwest, we love fishing for salmon, sturgeon and steelhead. We also various types of aluminum boat that we use, such as North River, Alumaweld, NW Boulton and Jet to name a few, from 18-26 'in length. Both options of energy is used or an outboard motor or to the inside of the jet pump. What kind of system propelling you like best and why?

Tough question. For fishing? Outboard. For fun? Jet engines Jet immediately get on the plane to rise little or no bow, however, consume much fuel IMO. If I wanted to ski, tube, etc. .. jetboat would be my choice. maintenance but are also higher, and can block (as in Waverunners) I have an outboard 200 hp on my boat fishing at sea, it makes me feel good.
