What are cool places for a 11-yr old boys birthday near Stamford, CT?

My son wants to invite a dozen children in mid - November for his birthday. What experiences or entertainment to impress a group as "fresh and more active than 11 years?" I thought the paint ball, karting, treasure hunting, fishing, virtual reality, the mysteries of the murder, making his own music video, haunted houses, learn magic, model flight airlines as examples and I am looking for sites like this. We live in Stamford, CT and are willing to drive 30-45 minutes any direction. We know with New Roc City. Unfortunately, Paintball Madness and Go rock climbing vertical Stamford closed Thank you! Try the links, my son was in a couple of games to the gym and loved it. Problem with the label is the delay New Haven should be a certain height to go, can not affect that your child can invite to your party. There is an escalation of my son went to a party (3 links) and has been very well there. Hope this helps
